Ann Partridge is a passionate about environmental stewardship and animal welfare. She is a foodie, a science nerd, and drawn to historic homestead skills.
Ann earned her bachelor's degree in Agriculture from the University of California at Davis in 2000. Her extensive "Homesteady" experience includes living off grid, design-build on her natural home, milking sheep, cheese making, canning, maple syrup tapping, sourdough baking, and fiber art. Ann enjoyed sharing her anachronistic passions as a host through World Wide Opportunities on Organic Farms (WWOOF) for many years.
Ann’s professional journey includes teaching college level agriculture classes, leading internships educational farms, developing K-12 school gardens, and crew leadership on for-profit farms. She co-founded the School of Adaptive Agriculture in Willits, California. Ann collaborated on university research and presented at the OSU small farms conference and Eco-Farm.
Committed to continuous learning, Ann has pursued further education in permaculture design, gray water installation, and natural building. In 2019, she realized her lifelong dream of farm ownership.
